As always, the system requirements vary depending on the number of players on your server.
Pentium II 266MHz. More CPU = more players.
At least 64 MB RAM.
Kernel 2.2.9 or higher, glibc 2.1.
The *.pk3 files from the Quake III Arena CD-ROM.
At least ~500 MB free space on your HDD.
Enough bandwidth if you're going to run an Internet server. More players = more bandwidth.
