Crysis este cel de-al doilea joc al studiourilor germane Crytek. Si al fel ca si primul, Far Cry, este un FPS destul de impresionant, ce pune accesul pe grafica de ultima generatie. Si Crysis se desfasoara tot pe o insula (sa fi brevetat Crytek ideea), dar de aceasta data are la baza o poveste mult mai inchegata si bine pusa la punct.

Actiunea se petrece in anul 2020, pe o insula a Pacificului, ce este capturata de Coreea de Nord. Suntem pusi in pielea unui soldat al fortelor speciale americane, trimis sa investigheze situatia, si sa salveze cativa cercetatori si arheologi aflati cu treburi pe acolo.
